Other
The device type "Other" allows you to configure a wide range of devices, such as older telephone sets, softphones, ATAs, and more.
After entering a name, line name, and linking a user, SIP credentials will be generated that can be used to manually configure devices.
Three registration methods are supported:
Devices that support DNS-SRV/NAPTR
Devices that do not support DNS-SRV but do support Primary/Secondary servers
Devices that support neither DNS-SRV nor Primary/Secondary servers
Once the SIP credentials are generated, you can log in to the device's web interface.
Navigate to the IP address, enter the SIP credentials, and the device should come online almost immediately if configured correctly. If it does not, this may be due to incorrect SIP credentials or firewall settings blocking the connection.
