🔚 Hang Up App
The Hang Up App allows you to terminate a call within your dial plan with a specific hang-up reason.
This can be useful for controlling how the caller’s device or provider interprets the end of the call — for example, whether it was busy, unanswered, or unavailable.
⚙️ Available Hang Up Reasons
✅ Normal clearing ( 487 Request Terminated ) – Call ended normally.
📞 User busy ( 486 Busy Here ) – The called party is currently busy.
⏳ No user response ( 480 Temporarily Unavailable ) – The called party did not respond.
🔕 No answer ( 408 Request Timeout ) – The call rang but was not answered.
🚫 Subscriber absent (480 Temporarily Unavailable ) – The called party is unavailable.
⚙️ Normal unspecified ( 480 / 487 / 603 (context-dependent) – Default, generic call termination.
🧩 Default Behavior
By default, the Hang Up App uses Normal unspecified.
When creating or editing a dial plan, you’ll be prompted to confirm this default setting or manually choose a different hang-up reason if needed.
