Which Microsoft license do I need for Teams Calling?
To make and receive calls through Microsoft Teams using Kwebbl, two things are required: the right Microsoft license, and a Teams Connector license(Call2Teams or Qaller Teams) on the Kwebbl side. This article explains what's needed on the Microsoft side.
How it works
Kwebbl connects to Microsoft Teams using a feature called Direct Routing. This routes calls between the Kwebbl telephony platform and Microsoft Teams, so users can make and receive calls directly from Teams without needing a separate calling plan from Microsoft.
For Direct Routing to work, each user must have a Microsoft Teams Phone System license assigned.

Which license do you need?
The required license depends on your current Microsoft 365 subscription.
Microsoft 365 Business (Basic, Standard, or Premium), E1 or E3
Add the Microsoft Teams Phone System add-on license to each user who needs to make or receive calls.
Microsoft 365 E5
No additional license is needed. Teams Phone System is included in the E5 plan.
