Introduction

Your telephony provider has set up Qaller Teams to connect your organization's phone numbers to Microsoft Teams. To complete the setup, Qaller Teams needs to be authorized to configure calling settings on your Microsoft 365 tenant.

This is a one-time step. It takes about 5 minutes and requires your Microsoft 365 Global Admin credentials.

Your telephony provider has already created a Qaller Teams account for you — check your inbox for an activation email before you start.

Step 1 — Activate Your Account

  1. Open the activation email sent to you by your telephony provider and click Activate Your Account.

  2. You'll be taken to the Qaller Teams portal to set your password.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete activation.

After setting your password, you'll be taken directly to the portal.

Step 2 — Log in to the Qaller Teams Portal

After activating your account, you'll be signed in automatically. In that case, you can skip ahead to Step 3.

If you're returning to the portal at a later time, go to https://portal.qallerteams.com and log in with your credentials.

Forgot your password?
  1. On the login page, enter your email address in the Username field and click Continue with username.

  2. On the next screen, click Forgot password.

  3. Enter your username and click Send Password Reset Email.

  4. Check your inbox for an email titled Reset password instructions.

  5. Click the Set New Password link in the email.

Step 3a — Authorize Microsoft 365

  1. After logging in, you'll land on your organization's dashboard.

  2. Locate the Microsoft Teams icon in the top right corner of the screen.

  3. Click the icon and select Connect to Microsoft Teams.

  4. You'll be redirected to Microsoft. Sign in with your Microsoft 365 Global Admin account.

  5. A permissions screen appears from Link2Teams by Cataleya Private Limited. Review the requested permissions and click Accept.

  6. One or more permission requests may appear. Accept all of them — these are requested by Qaller Teams and are required to configure the telephony settings on Microsoft's side.

Step 3b — Confirm the Authorization

  1. You'll be redirected to a confirmation page showing: "You have authorized the Orchid Collab Portal to use the following Microsoft Account." Verify that your account details and tenant domain are correct.

  2. Close this page. You'll be taken back to the Qaller Teams portal.

  3. Click the Microsoft Teams icon in the top right corner again and select Authorization page.

  4. You should see: "Connection of your Microsoft 365 Account is successful!"

That's it — the authorization is complete. Let your telephony provider know so they can finish the rest of the setup on their side.
